Public/Private Partnership

In partnership with the Town of Castle Rock, P3’s guiding vision for this project is to create an attractive outdoor adventure recreation area that complements the surrounding atmosphere of Philip S. Miller Park. The synergy between the park and the public/private partnership development will be critical to the success of this development. When properly developed, the community will be drawn to the park and development as places to play, socialize, and experience nature in ways found nowhere else.

On February 4, 2014, the Castle Rock City Council voted unanimously to give exclusive development rights for the Snow Sports Park to Weston Solutions, Inc. P3 has a combined 60+ years of experience in these industries. As Master Developer, P3 will lead a group of firms with exceptional capabilities in supporting the Philip S. Miller Park.

Briton Engineering Developments, Ltd. (Briton) was established in 1979 and has been involved in more than 250 snow sports projects worldwide. Briton is the world leader in the design, manufacture, and delivery of year-round Snowflex Snow Sports Centers. Briton, based in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, is the inventor and sole worldwide manufacturer of Snowflex, a revolutionary snow sports surface system. Briton will design and deliver the Snowflex system for the Philip S. Miller Park.

(WESTON) is a leading worldwide engineering, renovation, and environmental firm focused on restoring efficiency to essential resources: air, land, water, people, and facilities. WESTON has more than 60 offices worldwide and a staff of 1,600, with local offices in both Colorado Springs and Lakewood, CO. WESTON will provide engineering and environmental services for this project.
